Good Morning .........

Do you ever turn on the TV to a usually favourite show and after only a few minutes, in the early morning hours, turn to it and say "Oh, shut up!" ??  I did ........  this morning ........ do you think I hurt it's feelings?  Probably not.  So, I turned the channel to just music ..... 70s music .... which I normally enjoy ......  just not today.  The mute button came in handy that time.  I'll just listen now to the dishwasher doing it's thing out in the kitchen.

This high speed internet thing is working out quite well.  Getting to do some things on computer now that I had had to give up before.  Nice ......... though it is all so time consuming ....... even with high speed.  Does one ever catch up playing catch up??  Sometimes it seems like 'information overload' which brings on the urge to grab a book ....... you know, the old fashioned hard covered book ..... lay back on the couch, and read .........

    

Hello ......

Oh my dear ..... it's been so long, but here I am again.  Working with high speed now instead of the disappointingly slow dialup, which made blogging such a chore.  So, this will be a test, to see if blogger and I are now 'somewhat' compatible.  I do hope we will be. 

Time rolls on .....

... and seems to pick up speed. Could it be due to the 'downhill slant?' Took a try or two to get in here to be able to post. Almost wondered if Dear Blogger was going to allow me to get here to post, but here I am! :)

It's a beautiful night outside ....... clear skies, moon, and stars ..... wind a bit breezy ...... warm wood fire inside ......... knitting to do whenever I can settle to it again ....... darning and mending, too ....... The leaves are all gone from the trees now and the stark lengths of various wood sleep ....... waiting for the snow to come, and leave again, before new green growth developes ......

It's going rain here today .......

and it is a blessing, as we really do need the moisture in the ground. Without it we wouldn't be able to see such beauty come from the earth ............
