Good Wednesday Morning .......

The birds began their singing around 4:42am today ......... My, they were early ...... maybe it's true about the early bird getting the worm. Maybe they get those worms in the early hours while the worm is still half frozen and can't move!

Better say something here before I can't get in to post on this blog. It's been a month ....... lots of changes in the natural world around me ...... springtime is here; though yesterday the air had a hint of fall in it, or was that a bit of leftover winter? None the less, the air was chilly, and it seemed so strange as the day before had been warm enough to qualify as summer. Odd weather patterns ......

I'm not reading or knitting lately ....... can't seem to concentrate. Mostly I'm waiting ...... and praying ....... for some good changes to come along. Wish they'd happen so I'd feel like getting back to participating in life again.

It's now Good Afternoon ......

Shall I run and boil up the water for a coffee? Why not, eh?! ......... brb! .................. I downloaded this picture of some early Honeysuckle leaves, taken just over a week ago, while I waited for the water to boil.

It's amazing how the plants begin their new growth ...... even as the cold, and sometimes snow, remains. The tiny little Snowdrops will poke up right through the snow! I have both single and double Snowdrops; and can't wait for them to show themselves in the early Spring!

East Coast Morning Coffee .....

I have come to the conclusion that the world moves at too quickly a pace for me. Slow Down! doesn't seem to even make a ripple in their thoughts as those humans race towards the end of their alloted time. At the pace I move my time will not have difficulty finding me. Perhaps I moan this morning due to the extra pressure that the weather system off the east coast of the US is putting on my body. I shall endeavor to smile anyway. :-)

Good Morning! ....

The skies are clear, the Sun is coming up over the horizon, and temps are reported to be headed into the double digits today! If at all possible, I will be spending time outside later!! I Love the Springtime!! Yesterday I bought a Classic White Geranium, a Osteospermum Tradewinds Pink, and a Osteospermum Sunscape Daisy Cape. Will be putting those in my DH Nana's old concrete square planter which I keep by the backdoor. Getting the bug for planting ..... wish the body would cooperate a little better with the idea. Heather had half of her vehicle trunk filled yesterday when we left the nursery. She probably played in the dirt the rest of the day. :-)

Good Morning!

Spring is definitely showing signs of being on the way this morning ...... blue skies with wispy clouds ..... SUN! ..... birds flitting about ...... temp +2C ........ Hmmm ....... NICE!!

Yesterday afternoon there was an airplane crash in our little village, which our son missed being involved in by about one minute, and a local young family missed by inches!! PTL that their car had good brakes and they held!!

The two passengers had minor injuries; however, the pilot was airlifted to Halifax and the last we heard he was critical.
